Does anyone else have problems changing their settings on their home page? I have been trying to change mine and it does not work. I click save, but when I go back to the home page, nothing has changed. Does anyone know what I should do?

This week I was reading and I saw an article that said that people do better with their food choices when they keep a food journal of what they are eating. I have never considered myself one of those people who would be able to keep a food log. I always use the excuse that I am too busy. What I realized is that I am really not too busy. I think maybe I just don’t want to be accountable for the food that I am eating. With that said, today I started my food journal. I plan on sticking to it until I feel every page of the book. I bought a 100 page journal book. I can’t wait to see what my weight will be like in 100 days.
Well, this summer I finally took a swim class. I am trying to conquer some of my fears. I heard someone say this awesome thing about not living your life on the sofa watching other people doing things instead of doing them yourself. Anyway I am on day 4 of the swimming lessons, and it is not going well. I can certainly see the exercise benefits. It takes a lot of energy with the kicking and stroking. That part is not so bad. The bad part is putting my head under the water. I hate it!!!!!! I am trying decide if I am going to stick with this swimming buisness. I don’t want to drown or anything. Has anyone else conquered this fear? Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
I am so excited! I really love to do the Leslie Sansone videos that I love. I have a three mile walk video that requires hand weights. I finally was able to do the whole three miles last night with the weights. I am so proud of myself. I have been really thinking that although I am not losing as much weight as I want, I am so much healthier. The fact that I can do an exercise video that is almost one hour long! God is good.
Does anyone do swimming or water aerobics as their form of exercise? I am thinking of either taking a basic swimming class or water aerobics for the rest of the summer to boost my exercising. I figure I might as well take advantage of these long summer days. Has anyone else tried this as exercise? How did it or is it working for you? Thanks in advance for the advice.
Today was my first official summer weigh-in and I am happy to report that I lost 3.8lbs. I felt that it should have been more, but I will take any loss since it seems that I have been on a gaining streak lately. That gives me 6 more weeks of summer vacation and 57 more pounds to get rid of by then. Everyday I am trying to remember “According to your faith, be it unto you.” We must walk by faith and not sight. Everyday we just need to envision ourselves being smaller and smaller. If you can believe, you can have it. Be blessed !

I am loving the long hot summer days. It is great to wake up in the morning and to have nowhere to go (except the gym). I am really trying to work hard this summer on my diet and weight loss. I want to wow people when I go back to school in August. I have thus far been enjoing my morning workouts, I go to Curves and there are a lot of other teachers at my club and we really support each other. It’s nice to have your own support team. We all need a little support every now and then. So, for anyone feeling down or depressed know that Jesus loves you and He is praying for you everyday. Be blessed.
